I’ve learned that the numbers rarely tell the whole story. I know where to look, what to question, and how to recognize when something isn’t adding up — sometimes literally.
I’m a problem solver by nature. I enjoy finding the gaps, untangling what isn’t working, and creating a better way forward. There’s something incredibly satisfying about taking something complicated and turning it into something that simply works.
But what I value most are the relationships I build with my clients. I want them to know someone is paying attention, thinking ahead, and genuinely looking out for them. It’s not only about having confidence in your books — it’s about having confidence in the person behind them.

With over a decade of experience in financial management, Emilie established Happy Books with a clear mission: to provide small business owners with the professional clarity they need to grow without the stress of managing complicated books.
I hold both CPB and PCP certifications, and I specialize in FHMC compliance and cloud-based accounting systems. My approach is personal, proactive, and always focused on what's best for my clients.
